Yeah, that's why I asked. I see a lot of people using Joomla, Drupal etc. simply because they want a few extra features. They are usually oblivious to how little effort it takes to make WordPress do exactly what they want.

I use a combo of SMF and WordPress to do a lot of things which neither software can do on their own at New Zealand Hockey | Dunedin Ice Hockey Association. User registration, user group specific areas, polls, forums etc. are all controlled by SMF whereas WordPress controls everything else. Users are oblivious to what software is controlling what (apart from the forum, which is obviously SMF).
