Question A Few basic Dreamweaver questions <- Newb to dw...

Hi there im just starting to design/code sites in dw....and i was wondering if poeple could tell me the best way to go about putting it together in dw...

first i designed the whole layout as one image in photoshop and then sliced it in imageready.....then i imported them as Images in dw.....now to add content etc do i need to do it with layers? is this the easiest way as in for each say content table do i insert a new layer and then a Div?

what is the cleanest and best way to do this? please help me out...thanks.

The cleanest and best way to create a site in Dreamweaver is to ditch the design view and stick to the code view and build from scratch. Then it's the same as using any other text editing program - albeit there's a bunch of extra tools you can use, although they're not generally considered to be very useful.

The automated systems built into Dreamweaver create awful code and are best avoided.
