Default Something similar to Google's Picassa?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good program that would allow me to upload a bunch of photos from a digital camera while on the road? I really like using Picassa because it's so easy, but I think I can only use it from my personal computer (ie. I have to download it to the computer I'm posting the pictures on).

Are there similar programs where I can just upload a bunch of photos in one fellow swoop to a website without having to download them to the computer (as it might be a public one)? I like how fast Picassa is, and how I can add little comments quickly. That would be great while travelling.

I tried uploading pics to my blog, but it's a bit time consuming- I have to do them one by one.

Thanks! And sorry if this is a beginner's question

Have you tried NextGen Gallery for WordPress? You can upload zip files containing photos and they'll automatically decompress and display in a photo gallery on your blog.

It can be downloaded from here:

And I have a test site with it installed here:

Not a problem. Happy to help

There are some other gallery plugins for WordPress too, but the ones I've tested weren't as good as NextGen.

If you really want to get fancy, there are even some bridges to dedicated gallery softwares like CopperMine that you could try. They're more complicated though and unless you're doing something very specific there's probably no need.
