Hi CodeNewbie,
I code in php, not the greatest coder but who is right. I like the simplicity and straightforwardness of the language and use it with mysql. I used to do visual basic programming then some asp but now its only php and a bit of asp here and there.

I'm a PHP/MySQL man - self taught, so forgive me for any huge faux pas I make! Client-side I can do enough javascript to have some fancy effects and do some simple Ajax, but I'm no expert.
Currently learning a bit of Python so I can write some scripts for Amarok (the best media player ever! - for you windoze dinosaurs there's going to be a version for you in the New Year)

My meagre programming skills are limited to PHP/MySQL. But they're limited at best. Most of my programming involves modifying existing CMS's to make them do whatever I need.

I can generally hack together some crude JavaScript where needed, but I'm definitely a noob at that too.
