I think the pertinent question here is ... what is Web2.0?

I find it odd that people try to pigeon hole a design as Web2.0 when there is no clear definition of what Web2.0 is and many people believe it has nothing to do with the 'look' of a website.

I think that is becoming less of a question, at least for myself..."What is web 2.0" As a grphic designer you tend to pick up on the basis of web 2.0 the more you work with others and hear their definitions on it.

That is true, but I think you can still wrap a definition around the whole idea of web 2.0. Even split that idea into areas. Such as saying you want the "look" or "feel" or overall "layout" of web 2.0. I think many designers would agree that it would make sense if a client asked such a question.

There are other high noted designers already talking about web 3.0 and even web 4.0. Now i don't know what those include, but it's a nice way to create a new level to online design and development.

The links themselves are useful yes, but they haven't been categorized in an efficient manner.

I'd recommend something like SocialMarker for this situation. : )

It's a loose concept, but it basically boils down to two things:
1) Appearance - bright colours, rounded corners, gradients +/- reflections
2) Interactivity - lots of User Generated Content, often powered by Ajax

But I'd say the UGC is probably what most people would think of when thinking of a Web2.0 site. In my opinion its more of a weird meme that propogated because site owners wanted to make themselves sound with it!

For a more cynical version of Web2.0 look here!
