Default Your Best Photos

A nice relaxing thread for us all, just post your favourite photos you've ever taken! Add some background as to why you like them, what equipment you used or whatever else if you like, or just show off your skills! Here's a few to get you started, but I warn you I have the eye of a bat when it comes to graphics!!

A swan in Sefton Park, Liverpool. A really massive, lovely park in the middle of an urban area - great place to get away from it all!

After about 500 attempts I finally managed to get an action photo that was timed right, and in focus at Bramham Horse Trials in Yorkshire, England!

The sun going down over the Gower Peninsula, South Wales.

The Tyne Bridge (Newcastle, England), with The Sage Building in the background - two truly amazing bits of architecture! (And this photo was taken on my phone!)

Nice job Bigal those are some good shots. I will have to dig up a few of mine but be warned I am the furthest thing from a photographer.

I can't quite remember the name of the place where this was but it was some garden where a famous glass blower 's work was displayed all over the gardens.

Wow I can't believe that's glass! I thought it was a flower or something before I read your comment! Seriously impressive stuff. And a nice cute dog as well!

Lol yes it is pretty amazing what he does. There were plenty glass sculptures there that were equally as amazing as that one.
