Hey there,

That tutorial was amazing, great detail and the steps were also straight forward and clear. however, i was wondering if a .psd file would be provided for the final result, i cant seem to get mine to look like the final result. i obviously know that making the exact copy is not possible however details such as the designs in the blue screen do not come out right :|

any advance on this request would be appreciated

Scypther

Hi Scypher,
We will have the .psd uploaded sometime today. Check back periodically.

Thanks,
D.

Hey Scypther,

Tell me which step your having problem with maybe I can help. It is 100% possible to create the exact results shown on the final, you just have to follow through the whole steps 1 by 1.

The detail on the screen is done through layer styles so all you have to do is create the exact shape then add the blending options provided. On that particular detail you probably forgot to set the layers blending mode to 'Lighten'. Doing that will show the details.

Thanks alot D

much appreciated, i was having problems once i had completed step 7. the display did not have smooth edges, it seems me adding the satin option turned them into white triangles :|

thanks again for the .psd file. ill give it another go and post my result up soon

Edit: reading the comment regarding the lighten blend, that seem to have done the trick but it wasnt mention before or at step 7 so my results did not look like that posted after step 7, then again i should have scrolled down and carried on xD
