Outsourcing middleman.

Hi all!
I’ve seen how online service outsourcing is becoming more and more popular these days. I’ve seen sites like elance , but I wonder what I need to build stuff like this. Has anyone used these sites? What are the most common problems you get from outsourcing? I appreciate your reply.

I've never tried outsourcing myself as I'm normally the one being outsourced to.

The thing I would watch out for is quality. Many freelancers only offer low quality services and claim to have skills they often do not have (applies to larger companies as well).
