I too want to learn coding in HTML + CSS. Can you share here the tutorials how it was being done. I am collecting free programming resources for making web site, because i cannot afford to go back in school, so I am doing self study.

Your best bet is it use dreamweaver, this way when you use code view you can still see what happends in the design and when you are writing code it gives you suggestions and helps you learn new code and the colour helps you read your code.

id say it would take you a month or so to get good if you are fast learner

I learn basic HTML and CSS from w3schools.com. This site will help you a lot on your fist step in web programming. Take HTML first then the CSS. AFter that try to create some projects to apply a CSS in an HTML.
