Default IE6 not rending website correctly....HELP!!!

Hi all,

I don't still use it, but I have a client who I did a website for who is having complaints about his website not rendering correctly in IE6. I really don't want to have to support that dinosaur, and really don't know what to do. The site is Kim Joyce Music Official Website, and if you view it in IE7 or IE8, it is fine. Once you view in IE6 its a mess.

So first of all, do I go through all the hassle to support IE6, or is it still professional to suggest a pop up urging users to upgrade or use Firefox? If I do support it, how in the world do I go about doing so, while still keeping the IE7 and IE8 versions lookign the same? Grrrrr.....

I want to say this is an issue with transparent images, however there is Flash on the page that I embedded using <object> tags to keep compatible with XHTML. Any and all suggestions would be great.

Thanks,
Siobhan
