Default Freelance prostores web designer

Job Budget: Negotiable Bids/ Views: 0 / 44Time Remaining: 38d 21h 46m (ends Oct 05, 2008 22:00 U.S. Eastern Time)

Job Description

I am using prostores platform and I like to know if you are familiar with their platform.
You need to know SSML and make changes with SSML scripting.
My website Shop Clothes for Women , men , Baby , and kids at jrbcollection.com | J.R.B. COLLECTION INC.

Job Description

1. The website looks Ok in Netscape Navigator and Firefox but it has problem in IE and AOL explorer.

2. I would like to get rid of the left navigation bar on the home page and make the navigation on the top of the home page like a drop down to include all the subcategories.

3. I want featured product to pick images randomly from a directory. The random can display only when some when goes to the site. Which means: no two people will see the same image. Or it can randomly display an image every 10sec.

4. On girls, boys, women and men page I would like to have where the left navigation bar is:
Shop by category
Girls
Spring / Summer
Fall / Winter
Note: Customer can click on either seasons and see all the subcategories and have an option to see summer or Fall products

Then on the body of each page to add a stock image that customer can click and take them to the right categories.

Just a quick note: You shouldn't be worrying about Netscape Navigator or AOL explorer. They are WAY off the map as far as browsers go and aren't really worth worrying about.

The browsers to develop for are (in no particular order):
IE8
IE7
IE6
Firefox 2
Firefox 3
Opera (latest version)
Safari (latest version)

And that's usually about all you need to be wary of. Chances are, if you get those browsers sorted, your site will be at least viewable in the older browsers.

Rather than targetting old, stodgy browsers which are unlikely to be coming back in vogue any time this century, you are much better off making sure your site works in a cross section of mobile devices (iPhone, PSP etc.).
