Description
We’d like to create a new brand name and accompanying logo. The criteria are listed below. Sports Resources is a manufacturer/importer/supplier of sports and school apparel to New Zealand schools and sports clubs. There is intent to also use the name internationally in the future. See Sports Resources: Manufacture and importing of sporting and school clothing for information on our products. There is urgency in selecting an appropriate name.

Criteria for a New Brand Name:
• It needs to be appealing to sports teams and players…both for team uniforms and for individual retail items.
• It needs to suitable for school uniform purchase decision makers (Principals, Board Members, Teachers) as well as being of interest to the students.
• It should reflect the brnad values of ‘Pride’, 'Performance', 'Innovative', 'Quality', 'Wellbeing'
• It should preferably reflect a New Zealand or Pacific flavour


Criteria for a New Logo:
• It can be the name itself or an accompanying decal.
• It has to suitable for embroidery – a low stitch count and no intricate details would be ideal
• It needs to be suitable for printing – preferably one or two colours to reduce cost…maximum of 3 colours.
• It must be easily identifiable on playing uniforms that are shown on tv or in print media…sometimes from a small distance or obscure angle. A simple, clear design is preferred.
• It must be suitable for using on business cards, car decals, letterhead, banners and posters etc.


The total prize will be US$400 and will be divided as follows: (US$200 for name creation and US$200 for the logo). We reserve the right to choose the Name and Logo from separate Bidders. Payment will be made upon receipt of the winning artwork in Illustrator CS vector format, and the names of any fonts used and the signing of an IP transfer form (which will be emailed to the winning bidder(s)).
