Job Description
Pareto is looking for an amazing Web Visual Interaction Designer aka Pixel Ninja to kickstart the user interface design for our game-changing products.

Pareto wants to surprise our customers with an incredible UI experience in world where they usually experience the mundane and boring.

As the user interface designer, you will work closely with product marketing and engineering throughout all stages of the product cycle. If you’re a critical thinker with an outstanding modern design sense, and an eye for making things better, and if you’re looking for a project where your work can have an immediate impact then this job is for you.

For this initial project your responsibilities will include…

• Design & deliver mockups, CSS, and page flows
• Designing complex Web 2.0 application interactions
• Promoting consistency across Pareto’s products
• Working with a diverse team to cultivate ideas and positively influence design direction
• Maintaining perspective while balancing polish, edge cases, a strong core user experience, and project deadlines
• Serving as an advocate for the end-user

Requirements

• Must have strong Photoshop/Illustrator/etc. skills with outstanding standards compliant HTML/CSS skills
• Have a keen eye for typography, layout, and user interaction.
• Candidate must have an obsessive attention to detail and an eye for colors and design.
• Be familiar with leading edge web design principles and technologies including AJAX and Flash.
• Be able to create and design a consistent experience across multiple features
• Have the communication and team skills to facilitate logical design discussions within Pareto’s engineering and marketing teams work in a fluid and fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Promote a clean, intuitive experience that Pareto’s users will want to use again and again.
• Experience with consumer-oriented user and/or network management user interfaces is a plus
