Default Pay Per Click Campaigns

I have been using pay per click campaigns to promote my service and have found that once you calculate your roi using adsense or yahoo search marketing or whichever ppc provider you can easily spend spend spend as you will continually be pulling more and more profit.

Yes, if you are maing a ROI that is good then the more you spend, the better. If you are making a loss then it's no point in you spending lots of money, but you should either keep tweaking your ads or you should stop completely or even try promoting other products instead.

I have had little luck with PPC campaigns. Well, I've successfully spent money but not sure I've gotten a lot of return from that money.

knupNet, what services/products were you advertising?

I've contemplated using a PPC campaign but I suspect it would cost me more than I would make out of it as my profit margins are minimal.

For all aspects of web promotion and monetisation, I think Chris Beasley's Website Publisher takes some beating as a reference.
