How to make increase traffic...

Hi All,
I have news websites, can u all suggest me that how can i improve traffic of my websites. I want specific ideas that can be applied for news site only.
so that i can increase thousands of unique visitors.

That is a very general question so I'll have to give a very general answer.

Make sure you have clean, semantic code and that you organise your page titles and headings carefully to ensure maximum SEO results. Ensure that your content is original and of high quality to make sure you get as many backlinks and return visitors as possible. And last but not least, keep adding original content regularly.

For news sites in particular, it is imperative that the news makes it's way to your site as soon as it becomes available, as the search engines may notice this and send traffic your direction in preference to other sources.

Also, many news sites purchase or borrow content from larger news sites. This is a sure fire way to never reach the top of the pile as visitors may notice this and search engines will inflict duplicate content penalties accordingly.

What sort of a news site do you run? It may sound a bit harsh, but if you're trying to make a global, or even national news site, then you probably won't make it. The competition is just too well established.
The way to break into the market is to go for a niche - for example, a specific sport, or pastime, or whatever. I assume that your website relates to a specific area, so what area is this? Promoting your website is all about ideas to increase its exposure (notwithstanding SEO), so without knowing what the area is, it's difficult to come up with a plan. Try and have a think about your target audience, and where you can reach them with your message.

me also a begner and m trying to promote my site. by my knowledge better check some SEO forums and post your site there and get information and try to impliment. my site is increesing well....

What is traffic - people are looking for texts. More text -> more search results -> more traffic. This is a general rule. All other things is to make your texts more valuable for search engines than your competitors texts.
