Exclamation Q and A section

Do search engines like Question and Answer sections on a website- is this beneficial for SEO?
And would a Q and A section be good to be a part of a landing page? Or how about a forum?

I currently have a Q&A section on the Flytrap website in my signature. However I'm looking to move that into a forum format shortly.

Whether it is a good idea for a landing page depends entirely on the subject matter. I don't use mine as a landing page as I don't think it's the most interesting part of the site.

I don't think search engines like Q&A sections anymore than other areas really. It's just garbles of keywords to them and I can't imagine Q&A sections are likely to have more (or more suitable) keywords than anywhere else on your site. If anything, I would have guessed they were potentially worse for SEO as you don't have as much control over content like that. You are at the mercy SEO wise of the person asking the question.
