Image Optimisation??

Hi

I want to optimise my Logo on Google image. Is there any submission tool to submit images like we submit sites on Google.com??

I don't know of any submit options for images, however, things like the image file name and alt tag should help out.

Eg. Your image is an iphone.
You could name it iphone.gif and have an alt="iPhone"

That is just a rough eg. but you should get the picture. You can also check on other images that rank well for the terms you are looking to target and see what they do.

Definitely ALT tag will help, but also you have to use Google webmaster tools to include your images in Google search. Listing process is taking time.

One of the keys to having your images listed is time. Google tends to favour images which have had a static URL for quite a long time.

I suspect having inbound links to the image also help, just as with regular google search.
