I have built a decent traffic website with little scripting skills. I know nothing more than basic html. That is all I need to know to write my webpages. I use a site builder that automatically does my template for me. All I do is point and click. I currently recieve about 500 pages views a day which is not bad for how basic my website is and my understanding of computer language.
