FaceBook Applications

Hi,
Has anyone tried making FaceBook applications before?

I've been messing around making plugins for WordPress, but figured that a suitable FaceBook application may reach a broader audience for revenue generating purposes. Plus I have some specific ideas for integration with existing sites of mine.

Do any of you have any experience with this? Perhaps have some links to handy instructions on where to start?

I found when I started with WordPress plugins that very basic plugins were a useful starting point for developing my own as I could read through the code to see how they did various things. Are there such plugins available for FaceBook?

I too am interested in creating a basic facebook application. I took a quick look around DT and found this one Create a Facebook Application With PHP

Im still working my way through it though. Hopefully it turns out to be as useful as it seems. Let me know if that helps you out as well.

Possibly a program to integrate some of the features of my website into FaceBook. Perhaps an ability to post to my site via FaceBook or integrating my photos gallery with FaceBook.
