Arrow Looking for a reliable host for forum.

Hey,

Well I am looking to move host due to downtime with my current host. My forum (sig) gets about 150 – 200 unique hits a day but am looking for a good reliable host.

Any suggestions?

I second the hostgator recommendation, but I definitely do NOT recommend Godaddy.com, they have a bad reputation for web hosting, although a good reputation for domain registrations.

BlueHost seem to have a good reputation too. Their $6.99 plan offers roughly the same serves as the Hostgator $7.99 plan, albeit they are known for having more downtime and tend to have a lower tolerance for server load (not a problem with 150-200 uniques per day).

Avoid GoDaddy.com for hosting, although they're fine for domain name registration. Many of my clients used to have their sites hosted with them, and they had endless problems. Currently I have all of my clients on SiteGround. They offer 750 GB of space, and 7500 GB traffic bandwidth, at less than six dollars per month, which is the best deal that I currently know of.

Hi Mirey86,

What is the catch? There is almost always a catch with free hosts.

Also, I've removed your link. We only allow self-promotional links in your signature sorry.
