How to host an website on server

help me with how to host my website in a server, is it need to be paid or free, suggest some sites

I use hostgator.com and haven't had any complaints yet.

For free hosting I've tried freehostia.com and found them to be okay. Although paid hosting is definitely a better option if you can afford it.

For all my sites and my clients' sites, I use SiteGround.

I've tried some of those free hosting sites, and they can be OK for a while, but then they suddenly disappear, usually without warning.

Dont go for server take any shared hosting they will give u user name and password . Connect to server by FTP and upload your site
